DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The Keene State Men's cross-country team placed 5th out of 43 teams at the 2015 UMass Dartmouth Cross-Country Invitational today.
Keene State's top five runners were Hayden Patterson (9th/25:36), Iid Shekh-Yusuf (22nd/25:59), Mark Rabasco (38th/26:27), Ben MacDonald (47th/26:40), and Phil Parent (72nd/27:05).
As a team, Keene State trailed only Brandeis University, East Stroudsburg University (NCAA Division II), Connecticut College and Franklin Pierce University (NCAA Division II).
The Keene State men were 86 points ahead of the next LEC team, University of Southern Maine.
Patterson was the top LEC runner and the 5th division III finisher, while Iid Sheikh-Yusuf was the third LEC finisher, the first LEC Freshman finisher and the second fastest freshman runner on the day.
Keene State competes next at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. on Friday, October 2, 2015.
