Box Score WILLIMANTIC, Conn.--The Keene State College women's lacrosse team was upended by Eastern Connecticut State, 16-15 in overtime, in the regular season finale for both teams at the Mansfield Complex on Saturday afternoon.

- Keene State will be the No. 2 seed in the Little East Conference tournament and will host the winner of Tuesday's quarterfinal between No. 3 seed Western Connecticut State and sixth seeded Southern Maine. That game will be on Thursday at 4 p.m. at Owl Athletic Complex.
- The Warriors earned the No. 1 seed with today's win and will welcome either No. 4 seed Plymouth State or No. 5 seed UMass Dartmouth in the other semifinal, also on Thursday.
Tale of the Tape
- Kaitlin Nolan led the way for Keene State with six goals and two assists. Kelly Chadnick had three goals, while Taylor Graf scored twice and set up four more, giving her 54 assists this season.
- The Warriors were led by a seven goal performance from Paige Schneider. ECSU also got three goals and two assists from Michelina Pinto and two goals each from Katie Burke, Tess Mraz, and Maggie Bodington.
- Nolan also win five draw controls for Keene State. Tara Kilderry had seven groundballs, and Gretchen Faulstich had six, while Amanda Makar had five and Tori Weinstock four.
- Alison Argiro made five saves in just under 50 minutes of work in the KSC net. Anna O'Brien made two stops in 13 minutes of action. Taylor Emmerson had 11 saves for ECSU.
First Half Highlights
- The Warriors scored first with an unassisted goal from Boddington, but the Owls responded with the next five. Taylor Graf scored off a feed from Taylor Farland, and Jenna Bellano scored on a free position shot. Nolan set up Samantha Ballard for the next KSC goal at 22:49, followed by a goal from Weinstock and a free position goal from Nolan with 15:27 to play.
- ECSU made it 5-2 with a free position effort from Schneider, but the KSC offense continued to find the back of the net. Graf set up the next three KSC goals, two from Nolan and another from Chadnick, that made it 8-2.
- Graf and Nolan scored again, before Schneider scored to make it 10-3 with exactly six minutes left. Chadnick and Pinto traded goals as KSC led 11-4 at halftime.
Second Half Highlights
- Pinto opened the second half scoring from a pass from Katie Burke, but KSC increased the lead to eight (13-5) as Farland, then Chadnick, scored unassisted, the latter with 21:55 remaining.
- The Warriors found the scoring touch after that, scoring six straight goals over the next nine minutes to make it 13-11 with 12:40 left. Burke set up three and scored another during that stretch, while Schneider found the net twice on free position shots.
- Nolan restored a three goal advantage with 6:15 to play, and though the Warriors got one back with a goal from Schneider, Nolan scored her sixth of the game, a free position shot with 4:20 left for a 15-12 lead. That proved to be the last goal the Owls would score, as the Warriors forced overtime with three goals in the last 2:48.
- Burke scored unassisted, then Pinto set up Boddington to get ECSU within one. Schneider forced the extra period with four ticks on the clock, and Tess Mraz netted the game winner in sudden death overtime with 47 seconds remaining.
