KEENE, N.H.--The Keene State College swimming and diving team honored seniors Ryan Boraski, Graham Lott, and Gabby Brzozowski in a meet against Bentley College on Saturday.
The Owls won 12 events on the afternoon. The Falcons took the men's meet 190-106, and the women's meet 172-116.
Boraski is a six time All-American, who holds the KSC marks in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, as well as the 100 IM, and was part of the record holding 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay, and 400 medley relay. Brzozwski is a three time Little East Conference champion, helping the Owls to 10 consecutive LEC titles. Lott is in the top 10 in school history in the 500 free, 1,000 free, 1,650 free, and 400 IM.
Men's Highlights
- Boraski won four events, including three individual races. The senior took the 200 free in 1:45.80, and the 50 free in a time of 21.12, as well as the 100 free in 46.81. He was also part of the winning 200 medley relay with Kyle Shadeck, Quinn Severs, and Graham Lott in 1:41.43.
- Shadeck also notched a trio of victories, taking the 200 fly in 1:59.18, and the 100 fly in 54.17, as well as the 200 IM in 2:02.35.
- Jake Driscoll took second in 3-meter diving, scoring 219.30, as well as second on the 1-meter board with a score of 245.10.
- Lott was second in the 1,000 free in 10:41.81, while Eric King placed the same in the 200 back in 2:04.38.
Women's Highlights
- Hope Walsh was dominant on the women's side, taking the 1,000 free in 10:57.11, nearly 25 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor. She also posted a six second victory in the 200 free in 1:59.36, and a near 14 second win in the 500 free, touching in with a time of 5:18.32.
- Sophie Hayes added a pair of wins, with a 2:13.52 time in the 200 fly, and winning the 100 fly in 1:01.14.
- Jessica Beler was second on both the 1-meter (184.95) and 3-meter (200.65), just .50 points out of first on the three meter board.
- Katie Brandeberry was a second place finisher in the 100 backstroke, in 1:05.95, as was Margaret Dean in the 100 free in 57.56, and Alex McCafferty in boththe 200 backstroke in 2:17.58 and the 200 IM in 2:23.39.
- Walsh, Hayes, as well as Rachel MacKinnon and Paige Westley were second in the 400 free relay in 3:52.29. Hayes, Dean, Brandeberry, and Olivia Pechulis were second in the 200 medley relay in 1:58.50.
