DARTMOUTH, Mass.—The Keene State College men's cross country team started the season off placing 13th out of 40 scoring teams at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Cross Country Invitational on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Cam Giordano led the way for the Owls running a respectable 26:56.2 for the 8K course placing 61st out of the 315 varsity athlete field. The second Keene State finisher was senior Matt Dudley placing 69th with a time of 27:08.6. The next two Owl runners were senior Ben Macdonald (89th, 27:36.6) and junior Tyler DeChane (99th, 27:52.0). Rounding out the top five was senior Phil Parent (117th, 28:10.6).
Next up for the Keene State men is the annual Keene State Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 30 at the Owl Athletic Complex.
