LEWISTON, Maine--Jared Hannon and Brandon Castor both posted wins as the Keene State College track and field team competed at the Bates Invitational on Saturday.
Women's Highlights
Nicole De Almeida took second in the 400 meter dash in 1:03.18, as did Brittany Gravallese in the 800 meters, in 2:28.43. De Almeida and Gravallese, along with Taylor Bisaillon and Lynne Hebert made up the 4x400 meter relay that was third in 4:22.14.
Bisaillon also added a third place finish in the shot put, throwing 10.88 meters, and Hebert was fourth in the mile in 5:37.46.
Men's Highlights
Hannon won the long jump with a leap of 6.52 meters, qualifying for the New England Division III Championships. Brandon Castor also had posted a win, taking the 400 meter dash in 53.36, and he was fifth in the 200 meter dash in 23.76. Brendan Caccicola was third in the 400 meters in 54.66, while Alex Medina was right behind in 55.51.
Tyler DeChane was third in the mile in 4:48.22, and the 4x400 meter relay team of Castor, Anthony Jennings, Jared Hannon, and Alex Medina was third in 3:36.38.
