KINGSTON, R.I.--The Keene State College men's and women's swimming and diving teams both had solid starts at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships at the University of Rhode Island on Thursday night.
Women
The 800 freestyle relay team of Hope Walsh, Kristyn Simoneau, Sophie Hayes, and Rachel Mackinnon finished in fourth place in 8:04.52. The Owls sit in third place after the first day of competition with 52 points.
Men
The men's 800 freestyle relay team, comprised of Patrick Doyle, Bryce Bowie, JT Barth, and Antony Hubbard were fifth, in 7:28.53. The KSC men are fifth after the first day, with 28 points.
