SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--Melissa Wydra qualified for the ECAC Championships and Ian Connell won the steeplechase at the Yellow Jacket Invitational at American International College on Saturday.

Men's Highlights

Clinton Mungeta posted an eighth place finish in the 200 meters, in 23.12, and Brandon Castor was seventh in the 400 meters in 52.30.  Ian Connell won the steeplechase in 10:36.86, with a dominating margin of victory of nearly 47 seconds.  

Women's Highlights

Nicole De Almeida took eighth place in the 400 meters in 1:03.28, and Erin McNemar finished in a three way tie for third in the high jump at 1.44 meters.  

Haleigh Therrien was eighth in the discus with a throw of 30.10 meters, and Melissa Wydra qualified for the ECAC Championships in the hammer with a toss of 36.51 meters.
