Box Score PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Keene State women's lacrosse team netted the first ten goals of the first half, including a hat trick from
Brigid Casey, and two goals from both
Haile Ratajack and
Ali Daisy to lift the Owls in their 24
th consecutive win over Rhode Island College from Alumni Field Thursday afternoon. KSC got goal scoring from six of their players and at least one point from nine players in the game.

How it Happened
The Owls leading goal scorer
Haile Ratajack wasted little time to get the scoring parade started for KSC as she opened the scoring just under two minutes into the contest, a goal that would start a string of ten straight to open the game for Keene State. On a feed from
Jackie DeAngelis, Ratajack would open the scoring for the Owls in doing so picking up her 21
st goal of the season, adding to a career best. KSC wasted little time in the first half to collect goals, getting two quick goals in 38 seconds from
Ali Daisy to give KSC the 3-0 lead.
Brigid Casey would find twine for the next two Owl goals giving KSC the 6-0 advantage just ten minutes into the contest. Rhode Island College goalie Shannon O' Connell was peppered with offensive attack from KSC. O' Connell made three saves in the first half while giving up 11 first half goals. In the half, junior
Emma Goodridge picked up her first goal of the season, as well as freshman
Keely Alterio picking up an assist on the
Brigid Casey tally, grabbing her first career collegiate point.
The second half brought more of the same offensive success for the Owls as they found the goal three minutes into the half as
Haile Ratajack continued her offensive outburst to give the Owls the ten-goal advantage. Before the Owls were able to find goal for the 13
th time of the afternoon, Rhode Island College struck for third of the afternoon when Hannah Ambrosia took advantage of a free position opportunity and slotted her first of the year for the Anchorwomen, and third goal in the contest for RIC.
Brigid Casey and
Megan Gorham would answer the RIC tally by giving the Owls an eleven-goal advantage in the contest. Casey picked up her fourth and final goal of the afternoon, where Gorham picked up her one and only goal on an assist from
Ali Daisy. KSC would end the game with a goal in the final two minutes of a free position attempt
Ali Daisy to give Keene State the 17-4 win as the Owls move to 3-1 in LEC and the Rhode Island College Anchorwomen drop their third straight conference game on the season. KSC has now won three straight after dropping their first two games to open the season.
Inside the Crease
- Keene State continues to get production from their dynamic offense, scoring 56 goals in their last three games. Haile Ratajack now has collected 24 goals and four assists on the season, good for 28 points. Brigid Casey and Ali Daisy have both collected 15 goals on the season, with Casey assisting 13 times, and Daisy getting the assist nine times.
- Goalkeeper Haley Terva made two saves on the afternoon for the Owls only facing six shots on goal through the 60 minutes of play.
- Hannah Ambrosia, Kassondra Rivera and Maddie Kross all tallied goals on the afternoon for Rhode Island College with Ambrosia getting the extra tally.
- Ratajack also led her team in caused turnovers on the afternoon with five. Jennie Fiano caused four turnovers for the Anchorwomen, a team best.
- KSC outshot RIC 30-10 in the contest, with an advantage in the shots on goal department being 26-6 in favor of the Owls.
