LOWELL, Mass.--Competing in chilly temperatures, Keene State College junior
Joey Fodor took a big step towards qualification for the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships at the George Davis Invitational at UMass Lowell on Saturday.
Women's Highlights
Shannon Parks threw the hammer 36.34 meters, and was fifth in the shot put at 11.90 meters.
Amanda Deppert ran the 100 meters in 13.88 seconds, while
Nicole De Almeida ran the 200 meters in 28.09, and the 400 meters in 1:03.03. KSC's other participants included
Christina Martin (1,500 meters, 6:01.83,
Juliana Yialiades (6:09.02), and
Sara Christian (6:20.27), and
Grace Furlong, who ran the 3,000 meters in 11:31.84,
Men's Highlights
Joey Fodor threw the javelin 56.52 meters, a toss that bumps him up to 11th in the nation. The top 17 competitiors in the nation will go to the NCAA Division III Championships.
Jacob Pearl ran the 5,000 meters in 15:24.73.

Hussein Wahussein in the 100 meters (12.18 seconds),
Brandon Castor in the 200 meters (24.22 seconds), and the long jump trio of
Zach Coburn (5.79 meters),
