NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.--Shannon Parks won the shot put as the Keene State College track and field teams competed at the Corsair Classic at UMass Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon.

Men's Highlights

• Jacob Pearl was second in the 800 meters in 2:00.74.
• Sam Hennedy was third in the 400 meter hurdles in 1:00.49.
• Rob St. Laurent was second in the steeplechase in 10:06.21.
• Dawson Hamele was fifth in the high jump at 1.80 meters.
• Joey Fodor was fifth in the javelin with a throw of 48.12 meters.
• Keene State was ninth out of 11 teams, with 34 points.

Women's Highlights

• Aurora Couto was fourth in the steeplechase in 13:49.77.
• Shannon Parks won the shotput at 12.09 meters, an improvement on .03 meters and keeps her in the running for an NCAA Division III Championships spot.
• Parks was also eighth in the hammer throw at 36.38 meters.    
• Keene State was 10th out of 12 participating teams, with 17 points.
