MEDFORD, Mass.--Shannon Parks won the shot put and the hammer as the Keene State College track and field teams tuned up for the Little East Conference championships at the Tufts Sunshine Invitational on Saturday.

Women's Highlights

• Parks won the shot put with a toss of 12.10 meters, while also taking the hammer at 41.58 meters.
• Mary Meagher was fourth in the discus with a throw of 29.49 meters and was also fifth in the javelin with a toss of 25.43 meters.
• Sarah Ames was eighth in the 800 meters in 2:43.26.
• Grace Furlong was seventh in the 1,500 meters in 5:12.95.
• Aurora Couto was eighth in the 1,500 meters in 5:14.92.
• Keene State was fourth out of seven teams with 35 points.

Men's Highlights

• Rob St. Laurent was sixth in the 1,500 meters in 4:13.15.
• Sam Hennedy was fourth in the 400 hurdles in 57.34.
• Ted Rockwell was ninth in the long jump in 5.52 meters.
• The Owls finished with eight points for seventh place.
