PLYMOUTH, N.H. -- Junior Mindy St. Marie netted four goals for the Keene State College women's lacrosse team as the Owls fell to Plymouth State University in Little East Conference action on Saturday at Panther Field.

How It Happened
Five different Owls scored in the first quarter to lead 5-3 over Plymouth State. The Panthers netted two goals before Hannah Dworkin tallied the first goal for the Owls with an assist by Emma Goodridge. St. Marie and Haile Ratajack followed suit, netting two goals within 22 seconds. Senior Brigid Casey set up Goodridge, followed by her own goal assisted by Dworkin to conclude the first quarter.
The Owls and Panthers battled it out in the second period, with the Panthers netting two goals in the first five minutes to tie it up. Junior Jackie DeAngelis scored to give the Owls an edge with an assist by Casey. The one goal lead didn't last long as Plymouth State answered with two more goals. St. Marie scored the equalizer in the final minute of the first half. The Owls and Panthers were tied 7-7 after the first 30 minutes of play.
The teams traded goals in the third quarter. St. Marie scored two goals for the Owls to finish the period 9-9.
The Panthers broke through in the final 15 minutes of action, scoring four straight goals. The Owls attempted to push back in the last three minutes with two unassisted goals from Casey, but it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit. The Owls fell 13-11.
