SMITHFIELD, R.I.--Senior Shannon Parks broke her own record in the shot put at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association Championships at Bryant University on Saturday afternoon.

Women's Highlights

• Parks threw the shot put 12.68 meters, besting her previously held mark of 12.45 meters, set at the 2021 LEC Track and Field Championships on May 1, 2021.

Men's Highlights

• Jacob Pearl ran the 800 meters in 1:55.66.
• Sam Hennedy ran the 400 hurdles in 56.94.
