Haile Ratajack scored four goals for the second straight game as the Keene State College women's lacrosse team's two-game winning streak ended in a 19-6 loss to Plymouth State University Saturday at the Owl Athletic Complex.

How it Happened
The Owls' in-state rival got the opening goal of the contest, when sophomore midfielder Elle Moshier scored at 12:36. One of Keene State's midfielders responded with her own goal, when senior
Mindy St. Marie scored at 11:33 to tie the game at one. After two goals from the Panthers, freshman midfielder
Annaliese Rudberg scored to bring Keene State back within 3-2 at 7:47. However, the Owls would struggle to keep up with the Panthers throughout the day.
Plymouth State would score the next four goals to end the first quarter up 7-2. After another PSU goal made it 8-2 in the second, Ratajack scored her first goal of the day at 8:27, with an assist from St. Marie. Ratajack then scored goal number two at 4:32 after being set up by junior attacker
Hannah Dworkin. The Panthers got one more goal in the quarter from senior attacker Emily Santom to head into halftime up 9-4.
Keene State would only muster two more goals in the second half, both from Ratajck. The first came with 7:28 left in the third quarter on an assist from senior attacker
Jackie DeAngelis. The second tally came at the 5:26 mark in the fourth quarter, with sophomore attacker
Lola Smith getting credit for the assist. But the Panthers went on to outscore the Owls 10-2 in the second half to get their third win in their last four games. Santom finished the game with seven goals, while sophomore attacker Julia Donovan and sophomore midfielder Jenna Stowell both had three.
Inside the Crease
- Freshman goalkeeper Kara Moriarty finished with a career-high 10 saves for the Owls. Her previous career-high was six, which she achieved against Massachusetts Maritime Academy (March 19) and Eastern Connecticut State University (April 1), both victories for the Owls.
- Ratajack also shined on the defensive side of the field, as she led all players with four caused turnovers and seven ground balls. The Brewster, N.Y., native now leads the LEC in caused turnovers per game with 4.00, while also ranking third in ground balls per game with 4.38.
- Not far behind Ratajack in caused turnovers per game is freshman midfielder Tess Brown, who is third in the league with 2.73 per game. She recorded two against Plymouth State on Saturday.
- After picking up another assist, Dworkin is now tied for the lead in the LEC in assists this season with 19.
