Baseball Announces 2025 Schedule

Owls Look to Increase Season Win Total for Third Straight Year

KEENE, N.H. – Fourth year Keene State College baseball head coach Justin Blood has announced the schedule for the 2025 season slated to begin in late February.

The Owls will play 11 home games, 23 true road games, and four neutral site games to comprise of their current 38-game slate, which begins with a weekend trip to the University of St. Joseph (Conn.) on February 28 and Stockton University in New Jersey the following day.  KSC will take on Westfield State in a twinbill at Fox Lane High School in Bedford, N.Y. on March 2.

After returning back home, the Owls will venture to nearby Winchendon, Mass. to take on Colby-Sawyer College at the Winchendon School on Thursday, March 6 before a road doubleheader at St. Joseph's College (L.I.) two days later.  KSC will venture to New York again the following weekend, traveling to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for a pair on March 15 before another doubleheader the following day against the United States Coast Guard Academy in the first-ever meeting between the two sides.

The final weekend before league play begins while feature a game on four consecutive days, three of which will take place at the University of Hartford.  KSC will first travel to take on Roger Williams University on March 20 before taking on the Hawks at Fiondella Field on March 21.  A meeting with Wheaton College (Mass.) is on the docket for the following day at the same venue before the Owls close the weekend with another meeting against Hartford.

Following a road contest at Salem State University on March 26, KSC will host their home and Little East Conference opener on Saturday, March 29 when they welcome Rhode Island College to Keene for a doubleheader.  The Owls are scheduled for seven home games between then and April 12, including conference matchups against Eastern Connecticut State University on April 8 and the University of Massachusetts-Boston on April 12.  Non-league contests against Western New England University (April 2) and Mitchell College (April 9) are also a part of that stretch.  KSC's lone road trip in that span will come on April 5 when they visit Western Connecticut State University for an LEC doubleheader.

Eight of the Owls' final 12 games will be away from the Elm City, including conference meetings at Vermont State University Castleton (April 15), Eastern Connecticut (April 22), defending LEC tournament champion University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth (April 26), and Plymouth State University (May 2).  KSC will also visit New England College on April 16 and Worcester State on April 30 for non-conference contests.

The Owls' four home games in the final two weeks of the regular season will come on April 19 when the University of Southern Maine visits for an LEC doubleheader, April 23 against Springfield College, and April 29 against Castleton.

The top six teams in the LEC will qualify for the conference tournament, which is slated for May 7 through May 10 and will be hosted by the league's No. 1 seed.  The NCAA tournament field will be announced on May 12, with regionals on the calendar for May 16-18 and super regionals on May 23 and 24.  The Division III College World Series will be held from May 30 through June 5 at WellSpan Park in York, Pa.
