How it Happened
After King K Rool for Ashland took one of Link's (Slattery's) stocks for KSC to open off, Link answered by taking one right back. Unfortunately for the Owls, Link was unable to get another stock from King K Rool before he would lose all his. Tadpole was up next as Corin, and he would be able to take one of King K Rool's stocks, before he would lose all three of his. King K Rool continued to take away the Owls' stocks, as he took two from Lucas, before Lucas finally took K Rool's third stock away. Min min entered next for the Eagles and took care of Lucas' last stock, which left Palutena's three stocks as the only remaining for the Owls, as Ashland still had nine remaining. Both teams traded stocks to open the match, but Min Min finished the round by taking Palutena's final two stocks, giving Ashland the match one win with eight stocks remaining.
The second round saw Lucas open for the Owls against Cloud for Ashland, which saw Cloud take all three stocks, without losing one for Ashland to open the round. Palutena (TheGingerLad) then entered for the Owls and the pair traded stocks, before Cloud finished off Palutena by taking their last two stocks. Next up for KSC was Corin, but Cloud was once again able to take all three of KSC's stocks, this time without losing one. The last three stocks came from Link (Slattery), as the Owls looked to pull off an 11-stock comeback. Unfortunately for the Owls, Link as only be able to take one more stock from Cloud, until he lost all three, and Ashland picked up the 2-0 series win, after winning match two with 10 stocks remaining.
