How it Happened

The Panthers got on the board first in game one, as "Dimez" passed the ball off the wall to themself and scored an aerial goal with 3:33 left to play. Over the next 44 seconds, the Panthers tacked on three more goals, bringing their lead to four with 2:49 remaining. Unfortunately for the Owls, they were unable to net a goal in game one, as FT scored another, and picked up the 5-0 win in game one, with a pair of goals from each "IronCityKilla22" and "Dimez", while "Banana" scored the other for the Panthers.

The Panthers scored 22 seconds into game two as "IronCityKilla22" scored the opening goal, after the missed shot from "Dimez" who picked up the assist. Alex Nimiroski answered with a goal for the Owls 25 seconds later, evening the game out at one apiece. Neither team scored the remainder of regulation, and it wasn't until 1:30 into the sudden-death overtime period that Nimiroski cleared the ball deep into the Panthers' zone, picked up a demolition on one Panther defender and nudged another defender away from the goal line, leaving a wide-open shot for Keegan Wilder to score the game-winning goal, for the 2-1 victory and evening the series out at one apiece.

The first goal in game three also came from Wilder, with 3:25 left to play, as Nimiroski picked up the assist again, as he passed the ball to Wilder and then pushed a FT defender off the goal line for FT, leaving an open goal for Wilder to put the Owls up 1-0. Six seconds later, Nimiroski sent an aerial pass off the back wall, that set up Eric Carlo in front of the Panthers' goal for another goal for KSC. "IronCityKilla22" assisted "Banana" on the Panthers' first goal with 2:17 remaining as "Banana" converted on the breakaway opportunity for the Panthers to make it a one goal game. 21 seconds later, the Panthers tied the game up at two, as "Banana" scored another goal, this time going off the side wall and right into an open KSC net. "Banana" picked up the hat trick with 1:24 left to play, as they capitalized on a missed clear from KSC, off an aerial pass from "IronCityKilla22". With 27 seconds left, "Dimez" tried to squeeze a shot in the goal by the near post and Wilder made a save for KSC, but unfortunately for the Owls, "IronCityKilla22" came in and shot the rebound to put the nail in the coffin for the final goal of the game, giving the Panthers the 4-2 game win and 2-1 series lead.

Florida Tech got off to a hot start in game four, as they scored a pair of goals in the opening 28 seconds, as "Banana" and "IronCityKilla22" each scored for FT. Aidan Law subbed in for the Owls for game four in place of Wilder, and he picked up an assist off the Owls' first goal of game four, as he perfectly sent a centering pass off the side wall to right in front of the Panthers' goal, allowing Carlo to tap it into the back of the net to bring KSC to within a goal with 2:49 remaining. Carlo's goal ended up being the only goal for KSC in game four, as "Dimez" scored a pair of goals for the Panthers throughout the rest of the contest, which gave Florida Tech the 4-1 game win and 3-1 series win on the day.
