Bazin, Bolaske Named Owl Athletes of the Week

KEENE, N.H. – The Keene State College athletic department named Grace Bazin of the field hockey team and Tyler Bolaske of the men's cross country team this week's Owl Athletes of the Week. This week's selection encompassed action from October 13 through October 19.
 
Grace Bazin, a senior forward from Westminister, Vermont, took home the LEC Offensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row and the sixth week out of eight on the 2025 field hockey season from her continued dominance not only at the LEC level, but across the entire NCAA level. Bazin tallied six goals on 13 shots for a .46 shooting percentage across the Owls' two games on the week, including the game-winning goal at Clark University. Bazin's 32 goals on the year are an average of 2.00 goals per game are leading all of NCAA in goals by four goals and tied for goals per game average on the season. Her 32 goals are currently tied for the second-most goals in a season in program history, needing just five more to set the single season record.
 
Tyler Bolaske, a junior from Palmer, Massachusetts, was named the LEC Runner of the Week for the second time this season from his performance in a tough field at the Connecticut College Invitational over the past weekend. Bolaske finished 17th in a 264-runner field including participants from 12 nationally ranked teams. Bolaske bettered his 8K for a new PR by almost seven seconds as he ran the course in 24:25.9 as he set his PR for his fifth consecutive race.
