Min Min utilized their range as a character to keep Vort at bay, taking all three of their stocks and maintaining two stocks themselves, bringing the score to 11-6 in favor SBU. Next for the Owls was Aidan "Sour" Zimmer on King K. Rool. Sour was able to take off a stock from Min Min before losing all three of his. Anchoring for the Owls in the 10-3 stock situation was Matthew "squidman" Silvestri, playing Mario. Min Min successfully three-stocked Silvestri as well, secure the defeat of KSC in the first match, by an overall score of 10-0.
