NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The Keene State College women's lacrosse team traveled to take on Smith College on Wednesday night in the rainy conditions and after the Pioneers' strong start to open the contest, KSC was unable to come back as they fell 12-9 to SC.

How it Happened


Smith jumped out to a 6-1 lead after the first quarter and led 9-4 at the half over the Owls. KSC's comeback attempt fell short in the second half despite outscoring SC 12-9. Both Lolas for KSC led the way on the attack again with Lola Smith and Lola Verricchione scoring three goals apiece.
