PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Three Keene State College student-athletes were honored once again by the Little East Conference for their achievements accomplished for the week of 9/28-10/4.
Field Hockey
Freshman goalkeeper
Tori Kelly (Castleton, Vt.) was named the LEC Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week from her performance over the Owls' two games on the week. Against No. 16 Endicott College, Kelly tied her career-high of 11 saves in the contest, including three saves over the sudden-death overtime period. In the Owls' second game of the week, Kelly made eight saves against Plymouth State University in her 52:48 in goal in the contest.
Kelly and the Owls return to action on the road at the University of New England on Tuesday, October 6, at 5:00 PM.
Men's Cross Country
Senior
Tyler Bolaske (Palmer, Mass.) was named the LEC Runner of the Week for the second time this season and second consecutive time in a week of competition from his performance on Saturday at the Keene State College Invitational. Bolaske finished the race in second place, running a time of 24:49.8 over the 8K course, just 4.4 seconds behind first place. Bolaske's mark was his best time of the 2026 season so far and 24 seconds off his personal best of 24:25.9 from the Connecticut College Invitational back in October of 2025.
Bolaske and the Owls return to action after the next weekend off at the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday, October 17, with the White Race at 11:00 AM and the Blue Race at 1:00 PM.
Women's Cross Country
Junior
Kallie Warner (Buxton, Maine) was named the LEC Runner of the Week for the second time this season and second consecutive time in a week of competition from her performance on Saturday at the Keene State College Invitational. Warner finished the 6k course with a time of 22:10.2, finishing just 13 seconds behind first place. Warner's time was a personal-best for the second time on the season, beating her previous 6k time of 22:24.2 from two weeks ago at the Cardinal Invitational at Wesleyan University (Conn.).
Warner and the Owls return to action after the next weekend off at the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday, October 17, with the White Race at 10:00 AM and the Blue Race at 12:00 PM.
