Aurorxs then scored at 4:33, which extended KSC's lead to three at 5-2.

Finally, as time expired, Twisty9 earned a hat trick as he scored at 5:00. This solidified a 6-2 game two victory for Keene State, bringing the best-of-five series to 1-1 each.

Game 3: Unlike the first two games, the third game began with minimal offense. Aurorxs broke a near half-game long tie with an unassisted goal at 2:18 to put the Owls up 1-0. Overwatch
KSC Overwatch battled Rowan University on Wednesday, February 18th, as they looked to earn their third win of the season.

Map 1: Keene State won the opening coin toss and selected Ilios as the first map of the series. On the first control point, both squads traded progress with one another. RU came out on top with a 100%-60% victory in the best-of-three map type.
Rowan captured the second point first and progressed it to 40%, but the Owls fought back and took control. KSC held point progress for the remainder of the second point, winning 100%-40% and tying the game at 1-1. The third and final point was scrappy as both squads traded the point back and forth. Rowan University, however, came out on top with a 100%-65% victory to win Ilios 2-1, taking a 1-0 series lead.

Map 2: The Owls chose Midtown as the second map of the series. They began the map by defending first, tasked with defending an initial control point and subsequently stopping Rowan from progressing a payload across the map if they captured the point. KSC managed to hold Rowan at bay for over three minutes but were eventually overwhelmed and Rowan captured the control point with 55 seconds remaining to refresh the clock and begin moving the payload across the map. KSC and Rowan traded teamfights back and forth. Rowan University completed Midtown by moving the payload to the end of the map with 19 seconds remaining.

On offense, KSC captured the control point faster than Rowan, doing so with two minutes and 34 seconds remaining, and began moving the payload. The Owls were able to capture the second check point but were stonewalled by Rowan as they approached the end of Midtown, progressing only 65.43 of the 95.23 meters necessary to complete the map and force extra overtime between both teams. As they were unable to complete the map, the Owls were defeated by Rowan and fell to a 2-0 deficit.

Map 3: After losing Midtown, KSC opted for Suravasa as the third map of the match. On the first flashpoint, Rowan stymied the Owls on successive teamfights, taking it with 100% progress compared to KSC's 0%. Rowan maintained pressure on Keene State by progressing the second flashpoint to 99% progress, but the Owls fought back and took control of the flashpoint and held it to completion to tie the map up 1-1. On the third flashpoint, Rowan took control first and earned 89% progress before KSC forced them off and captured it. They held it up to 64% before Rowan won another teamfight and thus took a 2-1 lead. The fourth flashpoint was initially captured by RU yet again, and they progressed to 99% before KSC took control. KSC held it for 52% progress before Rowan retook it and moved to 100%; this gave Rowan a 3-1 flashpoint victory and a 3-0 overall series sweep of Keene State, forcing them to 2-1 on the season.

What's next: KSC Overwatch will try to get back in the win column on Wednesday, February 25th as they battle Ohio State University Gray.

VALORANT

Map 1: Haven
Haven was the site of the first map of the series. KSC was challenged heavily to begin the map, as UNC Pembroke took a commanding 5-0 lead on attack. By the end of the first half, UNCP was up 8-4 in the first-to-13 map. Beginning on attack, the Owls would win six out of the first seven rounds of the second half to take a 10-9 lead. KSC would eventually win Haven with a score of 13-10, taking a 1-0 series lead. Jeremy "yerrei" Giguere led all players with 23 kills followed by Gavin "Melatonin" Pierce with 20.

Map 2: Bind
UNCP took a 2-0 lead on attack to begin Bind, and the Owls answered with four straight round wins to make it 4-2 in favor of the Owls. Teams traded rounds with one another, and by round 15 UNCP held an 8-7 lead. KSC went on to win five out of the next seven rounds to win Bind by a score of 13-9, winning the series 2-0 and improving to 2-0 on the season. Yerrei once again led the Owls in kills with 23; being the only player in the lobby to eclipse 20.

What's next: With a 2-0 start on their repeat campaign, KSC VALORANT faces St. John's University on Thursday February 26th at 7 PM EST.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Keene State Smash Smash Bros took on Harrisburg University on Friday February 20th.

Match 1: Leading off for KSC was Matt "squidman" Silvestri as Mario against HU's first player as Pichu. After two minutes, both players found themselves with one stock remaining and minimal damage. Squidman was able to outlast Pichu and won the first set of the match, giving the Owls a 10-9 lead. Coming in second for Harrisburg was Lucas. With one stock to work with, Squidman was able to take a stock off of Lucas before being eliminated, which maintained a one stock Owl lead at 9-8. Second for the Owls was Brody "ph4r0h" Freehling, as Min Min. Ph4r0h entered and took Lucas's last stock, extending KSC's lead to 9-6. The third player for Harrisburg selected Palutena. Both players found themselves stalling against one another, not wanting to give up any space. This resulted in a longer-than-normal set. By the end of this encounter, both players held one stock left. Palutena came through with the victory over Ph4r0h, making the match score 6-4 in favor of KSC.

Entering third for KSC was Tyler "Tadpole" Adkins as Chrom. Palutena was able to use their range to keep Tadpole at bay and three-stocked him, shifting favor to Harrisburg 4-3. Anchoring the Owls in an attempt to bring the match one victory home was team captain Aidan "Sour" Zimmer as Piranha Plant. Sour succeeded in taking Palutena's last stock, but at the expense of one of his. This set up a final one on one scenario with Sour's two stocks against HU's final player as Bowser, with three. Sour took one stock from Bowser, but had his final stock immediately taken away, resulting in a 2-0 match victory for HU.

Match 2: Leading off for Keene State first was Tadpole as Chrom against HU's Pichu player. Pichu came out on top of this match after having one stock taken by Tadpole which gave Harrisburg University a 11-9 lead. The second KSC competitor was Squidman as Mario. Squidman lost one stock en route to a victory over Pichu, bringing the stock count to 9-8 in favor of HU. The third player for Harrisburg selected Lucas. Lucas took a stock from Squidman right away. However, Squidman took control of the matchup following this, and eliminated two of Lucas's stocks before finally going down. This kept the game within arm's reach for the Owls at 7-6 with the third KSC player coming in: Ph4r0h as Min Min.

HU sent in their Palutena third, once again matching up against Ph4r0h's Min Min. Just like their first encounter, both players played very patiently and stalled out the other, waiting for them to make a move. Eventually, the fighting sped up and Ph4r0h did take a stock from Palutena, but lost all of theirs. This gave HU a 5-3 lead as Sour came in yet again as anchor for the Owls, this time as Yoshi. Sour was able to take Palutena's final two stocks away and maintained all three of his which tied the match up. HU's Bowser player entered as their anchor. Bowser had a dominant performance by overwhelming Sour's Yoshi as the heavy character. Sour managed to take a stock from Bowser, but at 101% damage and one stock left, was immediately taken out by Bowser. This resulted in a 2-0 match and series victory overall for HU as the Owls fell to 0-2 on the season.

What's next: KSC SSBU looks to improve upon their 0-2 start as they battle Pennsylvania College of Art & Design on Friday, February 27th at 7 PM EST.
