Records
- Keene State: 0-4
- Endicott: 3-0
How it Happened
Endicott scored all their six goals in the opening quarter in the opening 7:29 of the first as the Owls were only able to possess the ball three times over the span due to Endicott winning four of the opening seven draw controls. The rest of the opening quarter the Owls' goalkeeper,
Katelyn Nicotera, made four more saves and the Owls had three successful clears but were unable to find the back of the net as EC took their lead into the second quarter.
EC added three goals early in the second quarter and as it looked like the Owls would find the back of the net with a free position shot from
Anna Maccarini, the Gulls' goalie, Severine Michel, saved her shot leading to Mia Smith scoring goal number 12 of the season on the other side of the field. A few minutes later with 6:37 remaining in the opening half following a pair of saves from Nicotera Maccarini broke past Michel as
Carly Diwinsky picked up an assist on her goal for the first for KSC on the day. EC tallied another goal a minute and a half later and added a man-up goal 20 seconds later after a card was called at the end of the previous goal. Nicotera made a pair of saves the rest of the half and EC took their 12-1 lead into halftime.
Nicotera made three saves over the opening 9:56 of the third quarter, but the third save bounced right to Abby MacDonald who put it into the back of the net a second later to go up 12. The rest of the third Nicotera had two more saves to head into the fourth quarter.
The Gulls opened the fourth with a goal 24 seconds in and after entering the game to start the fourth quarter in goal for the Owls,
Abby Tanner bounced back and made a pair of saves on the next two shots from EC. Endicott tacked on three more goals the next 10 minutes and late in the fourth before the clock expired
Tess Brown tacked on her 10th goal of the season on a man-up free position goal for the final tally of the contest.
