Twisty9 scored his third goal of the game at 3:52, putting the Owls up 5-2 with just over a minute remaining. This would be the final score of game two as KSC stood at match point territory.
Game 3: Nearly two minutes of scoreless Rocket League marked the opening of game three until Aurorxs scored an unassisted goal at 1:57 to grab a 1-0 Owl lead. Game 5: Weretiger achieved first blood in the final game of the series, scoring unassisted at 0:40. For three minutes the Owls played from behind, desperately trying to close the gap and keep the series alive. Dreamz would finally tie the game for KSC at 3:34 to make it 1-1 with just over a minute and a half left. The pressure then shifted immediately onto GMU as kCrona scored his first goal of the series at 3:39, giving KSC a 2-1 lead with minimal time remaining. The Patriots were unable to respond and the Owls kept the lead through regulation, winning the deciding game five 2-1 and taking the series 3-2. Overwatch
KSC Overwatch's opponent on Monday night was Pennsylvania College of Technology in a game with massive playoff implications as both squads entered with two wins a piece.
Map 1: Ilios
KSC won the opening coin toss and chose Ilios as the Control map. The Owls snagged the first control point to begin and progressed it to 18% before Penn assumed control. Penn would win the next teamfights to progress to 95% until KSC took it back. KSC would progress the control point to 84% before Penn once again took it. The Owls were unable to regain the point and fell to 1-0 in the best-of-three game mode.
On the second point, the Owls took control first yet again and progressed to 37% until Penn fought them off and took it over. Penn only progressed 18% of the way until KSC wrestled it back. The Owls would hold it all of the way through and win point two with a 100%-18% score, forcing a final control point to be fought over. On the third point, KSC again captured first and progressed 43% before Penn College gained control. 37% progress was achieved by Penn until KSC took it back, moving all the way to 99% capture progress. An extremely scrappy and extended teamfight took place at this time, and KSC were able to stave off Penn and win the third control point 100%-37%, completing the come-from-behind victory on Ilios and securing a 1-0 series lead.
Map 2: Kings Row
Penn College selected Kings Row as the site of map two. KSC began on defense, tasked with holding off Penn College's attack of a control point for four minutes. KSC held Penn back for a minute and 50 seconds before being overwhelmed and ceding the point. At this time, Penn was now tasked with moving a payload cart across two more checkpoints on Kings Row. The Owls succeeded in disallowing Penn from unlocking the second checkpoint, stopping Penn short at 99.95 meters of progress; meaning KSC would need to capture the control point and progress the payload 99.96 meters within the time limit to win Kings Row. For a minute and 40 seconds Penn were able to hold back KSC, but KSC broke through and took the point.
The Owls were able to take the control point. From there, they cruised through the rest of the payload progress, achieving the 96.96 meters to win the map with over a minute remaining. This gave Owls a 2-0 series lead as they entered match point territory.
Map 3: Suravasa
On the first flashpoint, KSC would capture first and stave off multiple attempts from Penn en route to a clean 100%-0% point victory making it 1-0 in the first-to-three game mode. On the second point, Penn College would capture first and this time they would complete a full 100%-0% capture to tie Suravasa up at 1-1. On the third flashpoint, KSC would win out in a scrappy teamfight and secure the point first. They progressed to 44% as Penn captured the flashpoint mid-teamfight. KSC quickly took out the rest of Penn and recaptured after just 19% progress earned for Penn. Through a few intense teamfights, the Owls were able to hold strong and fully secured the third flashpoint, earning a 2-1 map advantage.
On the fourth flashpoint, the Owls captured first yet again and held all the way to 99% progress until Penn took control to keep the game alive. Penn progressed to 73% but the Owls took the point back in the final teamfight and would win the point 10)%-73%, giving them a 3-1 map victory and 3-0 overall series win.

Opponent 2: 1-2 Malone University (Friday March 6th at 7:00 PM)
Game 1: Jackson "Jackabot27" Schimpf led off for the Owls as Steve against MU's first player as Pikachu. Jackabot would go on to successfully 12-stock Malone's lineup starting with Pikachu, followed by Sora, Min Min and finally Meta Knight; meaning that he eliminated all four MU's players three stocks and in the process did not lose any stocks himself. Therefore, KSC won game 1 by a stock score of 12-0; the first time in program history.
Game 2: Jackabot27 once again led off for the Owls following his history game one performance. This time, Malone led off with their Sora player. In this matchup MU's Sora succeeded in taking Jackabot's first stock of the match away, but otherwise was defeated by Jackabot, giving KSC a 11-9 stock lead with Malone's second player entering as Min Min. Min Min took yet another stock away from Jackabot but was also defeated, making it 10-6 in favor of KSC. Malone's third player entered the fray as Pikachu. Jackabot, like in the first game, three-stocked Pikachu and kept his hope of a second straight solo clear of Malone alive alongside a comfortable 10-3 stock advantage for KSC.
The final player for Malone University selected Meta Knight. Jackabot, with plenty of pressure on him knowing this was a historic performance, and with one stock remaining, managed to three-stock Meta Knight without losing his final stock. This secured yet another solo defeat of Malone's lineup by Jackabot; the second time in team history immediately following the first.
With this performance, the Owls won a critical matchup to move up their divisional standings, improving to 2-2 on the season.

Sephiroth was able to get 104% onto BlueShell, but BlueShell took a second stock off of them. Finally, Sephiroth took BlueShell out to bring the score to 8-4 in favor of KSC. BlueShell then eliminated Sephiroth's third stock, grabbing an 8-3 Owl lead as the Peacocks sent in their final player as King K. Rool.
With two stocks remaining on BlueShell, PCAD's King K. Rool drew first blood and took a stock away from BlueShell, making it 7-3. BlueShell responded with an elimination, bringing the stock count to 7-2. King K. Rool took BlueShell's final stock away, signaling a third Owl to enter the fray as they held a 6-2 lead. Entering next for KSC was Brody "Ph4r0h" Freehling as Min Min. Ph4r0h took a stock within the first 35 seconds, and took K. Rool's final stock shortly after, giving KSC a 6-0 victory in match one and a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series.

Jackabot then took Sephiroth's second and third stocks to fully defeat them, walking away with an 11-6 stock lead for Keene State.
The third player for the Peacocks selected Greninja. Greninja struck first in this encounter, taking a stock away from Jackabot. Jackabot then quickly lost his last stock with Greninja keeping all three of theirs, moving the score to a 9-6 advantage for the Owls. The second Owl to enter the matchup was BlueShell as Pikachu. Greninja was the first to take a stock, which reduced KSC's stock lead to 8-6. A second stock was taken by Greninja, bringing it down to a 7-6 lead. BlueShell responded with a KO on Pikachu to make it 7-5. Greninja then took BlueShell's last stock, making it just a single stock lead for the Owls at 6-5.
The next Owl coming into the game was team captain Aidan "Sour" Zimmer as Piranha Plant. Greninja took a stock off of Sour in the first 50 seconds, which tied the game for the first time since the start of it. Sour responded with an elimination to get Greninja down to their final stock and reasserting an Owl stock lead at 5-4. Greninja tied it up again with a KO on Sour, and followed it up with another one right after to swing the lead over to the Peacocks for the first time in the match.
Down 4-3, the Owls sent in their final player, Ph4r0h as Min Min. Ph4r0hwas able to survive Greninja with all three stocks, tying it up at 3-3 and setting up a final one on one match between both squads. The final Peacock selected Inkling. Ph4r0h struck first by taking a stock from Inkling, which gave KSC another stock lead at 3-2. This was immediately answered by Inkling, who KO'ed Ph4r0h to tie it once again. The two traded stocks with each other again, but Ph4r0h had Inkling at 121% damage while having only taken 11.3% themselves going into each player's final stock. Ph4r0h emerged victorious from this matchup and secured a 1-0 stock victory for KSC and an overall 2-0 series victory as they improved to 3-2 on the season.
