Keene State College

Fifth-year senior runner expected to be a key member of the Owls lead cross country pack this season….will be a top competitor for the Owls on the track in the mid-distance and relay events….should build on last year’s performances and be a more consistent runner for the Owls.

2012-13:  Cross Country:  His first healthy season since his freshman year…placed third (27:03) at KSC Invitational and posted a season PR (25:51) at the New England Championships….finished sixth (226:28) at the LEC Championship and was the Owls’ fourth runner at the New England regionals with a time of 26:13….Indoor Track:  Won mile (4:28.41)at Begnon Invitational at Springfield College …placed third in the 800 (2:03.35) and was a member of the winning 4x800 relay (8:06.22) at the LEC Championships…qualified for the New England Division III and New England Open in the 800 where he posted a PR time of 1:55.08….Outdoor Track:  Finished sixth (1:56.92) in the 800 at the LEC Championship.

2011-12: Missed cross country season with an injury…Indoor Track:  Posted a time of 1:25.93 in the 600 at Smith and a time of 2:40.12 in the 1,000 at Springfield….Outdoor Track:  Ran a 4:03.37 in the 1,500 race at the UMass-Amherst Invitational.

2010-11: Cross Country:  Competed at the KSC Invitational, recording a time of 28:57….Indoor Track:  Placed fourth in the 1,000 (2:53.20) and was a member of KSC 4x400 team that placed second (3:38.61) at Smith College Invitational.

Before KSC: Came to Keene State after competing for four-years at Newfound (N.H.) Regional high....received cross country and track rookie of the year honors and MVP accolades in track as a sophomore...raced to a personal-best time of 17:49 as a senior....team placed third in Class M&S meet all four years....personal best on the track include: 100-meters (11.7), 200-meters (23.16), 400-meters (52), and 800-meters (1:59), placing fifth at the Meet of Champions....Chris is a education/history major.
