Biography
Improving senior looking to build on her previous season in the Keene State running program…top track event is the 5,000…looking to break 21 minute mark on the trails this season…will graduate following fall semester.
2012-13: Cross Country: Posted a time of 20:57 at LEC Championships…Track: Finished fifth in the 3K at the LEC Championships with a time of 11:45.54.
2011-12: Cross Country: Placed 14th (13:08) at KSC Alumni Invitational and 21st (20:37) at LEC Championships…Indoor track: Finished sixth in the 800 (2:35.68) at the LEC meet.
2010-11: Cross Country: Had a solid first season on the trails for KSC…was Owls’ top finisher (20th/20:12) at UMass-Dartmouth sub-varsity race….placed 23rd at KSC Invitational (21:13) and 21st at LEC Championship (21:08)…Track: Indoors, ran a PR of 11:46.10 in the 3,000 at the New England Alliance Meet….also had a season best time of 2:39.62 in the 800 at the Harvard Open…Outdoors, earned All-LEC honors with her third place finish (12:58.51) in the 3,000 steeplechase…posted a PR time of 19:55.11 in the 5,000 at the UMass-Amherst Invitational….ran a new season best time of 2:43.36 in the 800 at the George Davis Invitational.
Before KSC: Joined Owl program after competing at Lincoln Academy in Maine where she did three seasons of cross country and four years of track…ran her way into the state meet with a eighth place finish at Class B Western Maine championship…earned All-Conference and All-Academic honors…placed third (21:06) at conference meet and eighth (20:56) at Regionals as a senior…posted PR time of 20:26.50 at Festival of Champions…a two-time team MVP on the track where she did the 200, 100 and 300 hurdles, 400, and the 4x400 relay…as a senior placed fourth in the 400 (1:04.28) and was a member of Eagle 4x400 team that finished fifth (4:37.22) at KVC outdoor meet…competed two seasons on school’s wrestling team….
Personal: Older sister Mary was a cheerleader at RIT….Dad ran cross country at Lincoln Academy…Nikki is an environmental studies major.
