2015 Women's Cross Country Roster
Biography
Senior who returns for her fourth season with the Keene State running program….will be in the hunt for spot in the Owls’ varsity cross country team this fall once she returns from an early season stress fracture injury…hope to pick up speed as season progresses and run a 18:30 5K…will also be a top middle distance competitor on the track.
2012-13: Cross Country: Made a fine debut for the Owls on the trails last fall, earning All-LEC honors with her sixth place finish (19:08) at the conference championship and placing eighth at the KSC Invitational…Indoor Track: Shined at LEC Indoor championship, winning the mile (5:14.07) and placing fourth in the 1,000 (3:14.06)…also qualified for the New England Division III meet in the mile…Outdoor Track: Won the LEC championship in the 1,500 with a time of 4:49.34.
2011-12: Track: Joined Keene State for the indoor track season…finished fifth in the 800 (2:34.10) at the LEC Championships…missed spring track season with an injury.
Before KSC: Wheeler is a rarity, having not run in high school or her freshman year of college…a former top echelon runner in middle school while growing up in Canada…attended Exeter High School…Kaitlin is a psychology major and minoring in health science.
