Fearless freshman who will be in the running for a spot in theOwls'' outfield this season....not afraid to dive for theball....also possesses a good throwing arm....a gap hitter who willalso go to the opposite field at the plate....BeforeKSC:  Joins Keene State team after playing the pastfour years at Berlin (Conn.) High where he received fall academichonors....senior team went 21-4 and advanced to the State (Class L)championship game...batted just over .350 as a senior....his BerlinPost 68 Legion team won the State and New England Championships andwent on to play in the World Series at Fargo, N.D....Doug is apolitical science/criminal justice major who hopes to join theState police force.
