Well-traveled senior senior who will pull a reverse-Youkilis this season, moving over from third base to first base....also played in the outfield as a sophomore....compliments fine fielder with ability to get on base on top of the Owls line-up.
As a junior: Came into his own last season, earning All-LEC first team honors at third base...led the Little East in runs scored and broke the KSC school record with 63 runs in 44 games...got the job done at the plate, hitting .364 average with 27 RBI''s and 67 hits....did most of his damage versus LEC teams in the regular season, batting .433 (26-of-60) in the 14 game conference slate, with a .507 on-base percentage and swiping six bases in seven attempts....got at least one hit in 41 of the Owsl'' 46 games, incluiding a 13 game hit streak....posted 19 multiple hit games...went 6-10 in a doubleheader against RIC (4/14/12) with four RBIs....had a 7-9 plate performance in a twinbiil vs. UMB (4/21/12) with five runs, four doubles, and three RBIs.
As a Sophomore…hit .356 in 36 games, making 33 starts… went 4-for-5 against UMass-Dartmouth (5/6/2011) including two RBIs...also scored two runs and recorded one of his 17 stolen bases
As a Freshman…Hit.255 in 26 games for the Owls...notched a season high three hits against Wheaton College (4/2/10)... Drove in three runs against Eastern Conn. (4/10/10)
Before KSC: Played two varsity seasons for Salem (N.H.) High team coached by former Owl Dan Kelleher... team reached 2007 state finals...Greg is an economics major.
