Junior pitcher who will work out of the bullpen and get an occassional start for the Owls...can locate the ball well and hit spots near the corners.

As a freshman…Made five relief appearances for the Owls last season with an ERA of 5.06 in 5.1 innings…recorded his lone save of the season against Fitchburg State (4/12/11) in an inning of work.

As a sophomore: Appeared in 13 games, making starts against Framingham State (4/5/12) and Brandeis (4/18/12)....tossed four innings of two hit ball against the Rams...pitched a career high 6.1 innings against St. Joseph''s College (Me.) in the NCAA tournament, giving up three hits with four strikeouts.

Before KSC: Four-year varsity player and captain his senior season at East Catholic (Conn.) High School…All Conference (CCC North) his junior and senior years…All Hartford Courant Team senior year…All Academic Team junior and senior years…Team Pitcher of The Year Award junior and senior years…lead team to conference championship in his senior season…Shawn is majoring in safety and occupational health applied sciences with a minor in management.
