Senior pitcher will enter her third season with the Owls since transferring from Sussex County Community College in New Jersey… good velocity and movement on her pitches and will look to build on her experience from last season to become one of the Owls top starters.

2011: Went 11-1 on the mound for the Owls with a 2.82 ERA…totaled 82 strikeouts in 82 innings of work…also batted .350 at the plate herself with three homers and 27 RBI’s…started the season 11-0 on the mound before losing her first start on May 6th…pitched five and a third innings of shutout ball against SUNY Plattsburgh (3/14) allowing only three hits in the victory…had a career-high 11 strikeouts in a victory over Knox College (3/18)…hit homers in back-to-back games against Fitchburg State (3/31) and Husson University (4/3).

2010: Went 4-3 with a 1.71 ERA in 18 appearances...Closed out the season with a seven inning, 10-strikeout performance against Bridgewater State in the ECAC tournament (5/15)…also had 13 hits in 52 at-bats at the plate for the Owls…totaled a homer and five RBI’s.

At SCCC: posted a 12-12 record last season with a 1.64 ERA at Sussex...tallied strikeouts in 145 innings....earned Garden State Athletic conference and All-Region second team honors...also named to scholar-athlete team....

Before SCCC: played three seasons at Kittatinny (N.J.) Regional High where she pitched and played at first and third base....a three-time All-Conference pitcher who also received player of the year honors from local cable station....also named to All-Western New Jersey team... her senior Kittatinny team roared to a 20-6 record, shared the title of the Sussex County Interscholastic League with Jefferson its first SCIL title since 1997 and secured its first NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 1, Group 2 championship since 1992....Sara is majoring in graphic design at Keene State.
