Keene State swimmer and tri-athlete who begins his second full season competing on the Owls cross country and track teams...competed in the 2010 USA Triathlon Collegiate Championship, finishing 29th in the undergrad division…2009-10: cross country: finished 13th (27:10) at KSC Alumni race…track: indoors, posted a time of 9:05.51 in the 3K at the Harvard Open meet…outdoors, placed seventh in the 10K (34:23.29) at the LEC Championships…2008-09: joined outdoor track team posting a sixth place finish (16:51.42) in the 5K....wrapped up his summer triathlon schedule at the Mossman Olympic-Distance Triathlon in Bridgeport, Conn. He came in ninth place and posted his fastest time ever in the Olympic distance of 1.5K swim, 40K bike and 10K run...was first in his age group (20-24) among the 337 competitors...Swimming: NEISDA champion (500 free and 800 free relay...Before KSC:  a four-year letter-winner and captain of  Pomeraug High team....won the Class M State Championship and set the high school 400 freestyle record as a senior...qualified for YMCA Nationals 2004-07....was Conn. US Swimming Top16 in numerous events...won the Pomperaug leadership award in 2007 and the Conn. Association of Public School Student Recognition award in 2006...Dan is a management major.
