Junior who has become one of the top throwers in the Little East and Region…the defending conference champ outdoors in the shot and discus looking to take the next step and qualify for the NCAA championships…set school record in the shot (outdoors) with his mark of 49’-02.25” at the New England Championships...expectations are that he continue to improve and be a regional powerhouse...has the tools to be a great thrower, of national caliber, just needs to get stronger and stay healthy

As a sophomore: Indoors:  finished second in the shot (13.87m) and third in the weight throw (13.97) at conference meet…earned New England Division III honors with his seventh place finish in the shot (47’-04.50”)…Outdoors:  finished first in the shot (14.75m) and discus (44.43m) and second in the hammer (44.35m) at the LEC Championships…earned New England Division III honors with his seventh place in the discus (150’-07”)…placed 11th in discus (136’-02”) at the New England Open Meet and earned All-ECAC Division III with his seventh place finish in the discus (137’-11’).

As a freshman:  Indoors:  placed third in the weight throw (12.74m) and fourth in the shot (13.68) at the LEC Championships…Outdoors:  placed third in the discus (41.29m), fourth in the javelin (51.85m) and sixth in the hammer (30.51m) at the LEC meet.

Before KSC: received All-State accolades at Exeter (N.H.) High School in winter 2010-11 and spring 2011…was also the New Hampshire state champion in shot put during the time…high school team placed fourth in state tournament where he threw javelin (176’-5”), discus (157’-2”) and shot put (53’-8”)…A member of the LEC All-Academic team, Ben is a safety studies major.
