Sophomore runner set to begin his first season with Owls’ program after attending George Mason University last year….will run cross country and concentrate on distance and steeplechase events on the track…Before KSC: a four-year competitor in both cross country and track at Burnt Hills (N.Y.) High…posted a career-best time of 16:38 at Burnt Hills cross country invitational…Spartan team won 2009 Class A championship…track team captured one indoor and two outdoor Section II Class BB titles…ran a season best time of 10:05.10 in the 3000m, placing first at Section II Class BB championship…ran a PR (10:23.93) in the 3,200m at Great Dane Classic, (9:30.55) in the 3,000 at the Yale Track Classic, (4:59.70) in the 1,600 at Section II league meet, and (18:04.10 in the 5,000 at the Nike Cross National New York Regional…Chance is considering environmental science as a possible major.
