Keene State standout swimmer and aspiring tri-athlete who beginshis first full season competing on the Owls cross country and trackteams...joined outdoor track team last spring, posting a sixthplace finish (16:51.42) in the 5K....wrapped up his summertriathlon schedule at the Mossman Olympic-Distance Triathlon inBridgeport, Conn. He came in ninth place and posted hisfastest time ever in the Olympic distance of 1.5K swim, 40K bikeand 10K run...was first in his age group(20-24) among the 337 competitors...Swimming: NEISDA champion(500 free and 800 free relay...Before KSC:  afour-year letter-winner and captain of  Pomeraug Highteam....won the Class M State Championship and set the high school400 freestyle record as a senior...qualified for YMCA Nationals2004-07....was Conn. US Swimming Top16 in numerous events...won thePomperaug leadership award in 2007 and the Conn. Association ofPublic School Student Recognition award in 2006...Dan is amanagement major.
