As a freshman: earned All-New England honors with his sixth place finish on the on-meter board...won three-meter event in dual meet wins over WPI and Bentley....
High school: joined KSC team after competing at Haverhill (Mass) High ... qualified for state meet every season, placing fifth as a junior and senior ... named the team''s most valuable diver ... top marks: one-meter - 278.6 points (six dives) and 242.2 points (11 dives)...Derek is a graphic design major.
