Keene State College

Highly-talented swimmer looking to complete KSC career with a super senior season…a top competitor for the Owls in breast and freestyle races as well as relays…has the potential to break Keene State records and qualify for NCAA Championships every time he’s in the pool....a member of KSC school record 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams.

As a junior: Earned All-America honors as a member of KSC’s 200 free relay which placed eighth…also received honorable mention All-America honors on 400 free relay team (13th)…a member of 200 medley relay squad that placed 20th….at NEISDA Championships…a member of winning 200 and 400 free relays teams and 400 medley relay squad….also placed second in 50 free and fourth in 100 free and 100 breast races.

As a sophomore: Qualified for NCAA Championships, earning honorable mention All-American honors in the 200 free relay (10th), 400 free relay (14th) and the 800 free relay (16th)…also placed 23rd in the 400 medley relay and 49th in the 100 free…raced to a first place finish in the free 50 at NEISDA meet…also took second in the 100 free and was a member of winning 200 and 800 free relays. 

As a freshman: At the NEISDA Championships…placed fifth in the 50-free, seventh in the 100-breast and fourth in the 100-free events…was the anchor for the Owls first place 400-medley relay team…was also part of recorded setting 200-free relay team at ECAC Championships with a combined time of 1:24.55…Qualified for NCAA Championships, but unable to compete due to a wrist injury.

Before KSC: Joined Keene State team after a solid swim season at Bishop Fenwick (Mass.) High…was named to Boston Globe and Lynn Item All-Scholastic teams....senior captain who was North champion in the 50 free and Catholic Central League boys MVS ... finished third in the 50 free in the D2 state meet...went to nationals with Marblehead YMCA club team...James plans to major in graphic design.
