Biography
Set to start fourth-year in the pool for the Owls…competes in several backstroke races as well as the 200 free...looking to drop his overall times and improve on his success from last year’s NEISDA championships.
As a junior: Recorded top times at the NEISDA Championships, placing third in the 50 and 200 back and fourth in the 100 back races.
As a sophomore: Was one of the Owls top competitors at the NEISDA Championships in the backstroke, finishing sixth in the 50 and 100 back and seventh in the 200 back.
As a freshman: At the NEISDA Championships placed eighth in the 100-back and sixth in the 200-back…finished in fifth in both the 100 and 200-fly against Connecticut College…also finished fifth in the 100-back against Bentley University…
Before KSC: Attended Ansonia (Conn.) High, but swam at Seymour High for three seasons...a three-time All-Conference swimmer in the 100 back...finished fifth at the state meet in the same event...played four years on his school''s baseball team...served as captain of his Valley YMCA club team...James is a health science major.
