Powerful junior outfielder who earned All-LEC honors as a sophomore…Led Owls in homers (8), slugging percentage (.620) and was second on the squad in RBI’s (27)…Also brings a good glove and solid arm to the outfield.

2011: batted .320 (32-for-100) in 34 games for the Owls last season…had two homers and four RBI’s against LEC rival Southern Maine (4/22)…also tallied home runs against conference foe Rhode Island College in back-to-back games (4/16)…also had 34 putouts and no errors in the field for KSC.

2010: Hit .340 for the Owls in 26 games…notched a season high in hits with three against Bates College (3/19/10).

Before KSC:  played two varsity seasons at Cardinal Spellman (Mass.) High School…named to Catholic League All-Star team and received top offensive player award from her team as a senior…batted .455 and posted a .955 fielding pct. in her final season at Spellman…senior team went 18-4 and won a first-round tournament game…also played on school’s varsity soccer team that went 18-0 her senior year….Kayla is majoring in elementary education with a minor in psychology.
