Biography

One of the top cross country runners in the region and national-caliber mid-distance runner on the track looking to complete her Owl career with super senior season…returning All-America and Academic All-America who was named LEC indoor and outdoor runner of the year and selected KSC scholar-athlete of the year…Cross Country:  2009: jumped right into the Owls'' lead pack in her initial season with the team, capturing the LEC championship (18:47) and placing second at the Saratoga Invitational (18:05)…2008: ran at the University of Vermont, posting a season best time of 20:11 at the UMass Invitational....Track:  Winter 2009-10: had a spectacular season, earning All-America (2nd, 800-meters), All-Division New England Champion (800), New England Division III champion (mile) and All-Little East Alliance championship (400, 3,000, and 4x400)…Spring 2010: qualified for the NCAA championship in the 800 and 1,500…posted NCAA qualifying mark (2:10.61) at Larry Ellis Invitational…dominated 1,500 event, winning title at the New England Alliance/Little East Championship, UMass Lowell Invitational, and Jim Sheehan Invitational…became the first  runner in the history of the meet to complete the 400-meter dash in under 58 seconds (57.94)…Spring 2009:  made an auspicious debut with the Owls earning LEC women''s outdoor runner of the year and earning a berth at the NCAA championships in the 800-meter race....earned a place on the podium at the ECAC Division III Championships with a third place time of 2:14.84...turned in a personal best in the 800-meter at the New England Open Championships by crossing the finish line at 2:14.49...her sixth place result at the New England Division III Championships earned Chamberlain an All-New England citation. Earlier in the campaign, she won the Little East Conference Championship and placed second in the New England Alliance field....High school:  earned 15 All-Conference honors in the 400, 4x400, and 4x800 at Scarborough (Me.) High...named MVP (2004) and won state championship (400) in 2007....team captured five state championships...Allison is an Architecture major who was named to the CoSIDA regional and national All-Academic  teams and LEC cross country and track All-Academic squads last year.
