Third-year runner looking to improve her times on the trails andtrack….a mid-distance runner on the track for the Owls.
2010-11: Cross Country: posted a seasonbest time of 23:48 at the UMass-Dartmouth sub-varsityrace…Track: set PRs in the 1,000 (3:51.08)and mile (6:21.98) at the Dartmouth Indoor Classic…best timein the 800 (3:07.38) came at the Wesleyan Invitational.
Before KSC: Arrived at Keene State aftercompeting her junior and senior years in cross country and oneseason of track at East Lyme (Conn.) High…a middle of thepack runner for the East Lyme cross country team that wereconference runners-up both seasons…1,500 was main event onthe track.
Personal: A political science/Spanishmajor, Ariel wants to join the Peace Corps after college.
