- Ran in the Early Bird Invitational hosted by Keene State College and came in 31st place, in the 3.2 K event finishing with a time of 12:55.4
As AÂ Sophomore (2018)
- Did not compete in the 2018 campaign
As A Freshman (2017)
- Ran in five meets in her rookie season
- Ran the 6K course in 26:11.5 at the NCAA New England Region Championships (11/11)
- Finished 39th at the Little East Championships, running the 5K in 21:51 (10/28)
Before KSC
- Barrera was a four-time letter winner for Natick High School where she was a mainstay on their cross country team
- She competed at the MIAA Eastern Massachusetts Cross Country Championship her junior and senior year
