Biography
Hard-working junior who will compete in the 200, 400 and 4x200 and 4x400 relays for the Owls this season.
As a sophomore: Top Indoor times included a 8.37 om the 55m and 30.17 200 at Brandeis and a 8.83 in the 60m at Smith and a 1;09.34 in the 400 at the LEC meet…Outdoors; posted a personnel best time in the 4x400 relay at the LEC Championships….placed fifth in the 100 (14.11) at Conn. College….top 200 time of 29.67 and top 400 time (1:07.66) came at Springfield College.
As a freshman: Top Indoor times included a 8.14 in the 55m at Brandeis, a 8.74 in the 60m at Smith and a 30.25 in the 200 at Brandeis…Outdoors: Finished fifth in the 100 dash (13.71) at the LEC Championships…also posted a 13.63 in the 100 at the UMass Invitational and a 28.76 in the 200 at the LEC meet.
Before KSC: Attended Westborough (Mass.) High where she was the captain of the school’s cross country and indoor and outdoor track teams….both her parents are runners and compete in road races…Avery is majoring in U.S. History and American Studies at Keene State.
