Sophomore high jumper who will also compete in the 200 and4x400 relay as well as the hurdles during thisseason...Before KSC: A top high jumpcompetitor during her four-year career at Guilford (Conn.) HighSchool...As a senior, placed second in the HJ (5''-0") at theSouthern Conn. Conference meet, sixth (5''-0") at the Conn. StateChampionship and 12th (5''-1") at the New EnglandChampionship....posted a PR jump of 5''-2" at the SCC CoachesInvitational....Outdoors: placed fourth in the 300-meter hurdles(48.94) and seventh in the high jump (5''-02.00") at the out statemeet....an accomplished gymnasts who competes for the Shoreline GymClub....Janel is considering sociology or psychology as possiblemajors.
