Hannah Himes joins the Owls’ coaching staff after graduating from Colby-Sawyer College in 2025 with a Bachelors of Science in Sport Management and coaching certificate. As a Charger in the classroom, Himes received the CSC Sport Management Capstone Award, the CSC Sport Management Baccalaureate Award, while being part of the Chi Alpha Sigma National Academic Honor Society and named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Honor Roll in 2025.
On the field for the Chargers, Himes has racked up the achievements, including a three-time Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) First Team All-Conference selection (2023-2025), while being named to the GNAC All-Conference Second Team and GNAC All-Rookie Team her freshman season (2022). Her senior season with Colby Sawyer was one to remember as she was named the GNAC Defender of the Year, while also moving into first place for most caused turnovers in a career with 167 caused turnovers.
While at college, Himes was also an assistant coach for the girls varsity lacrosse team at Essex High School for four years (2022-2025), with the team winning their first girls lacrosse state championship title in 2024. Along with coaching at Essex High School, she has also coached club lacrosse the past four years, including two with the New England Oaks, and two with the Vermont Valkyries, where she still currently coaches.
