Travis Wyant enters the 2025 season in his second year as head coach of the Owls women's lacrosse team. He was named to the position in May of 2023, following his stint as the Interim Head Coach for the 2023 season.
Wyant helped lead the Owls to the LEC Championship in his first season as head coach in 2024, for the program's first appearance in the title game since the 2016 season.
In his season as Interim Head Coach, senior Haile Ratajack was among the top in the country in caused turnovers. Ratajack also recorded Little East Conference-highs in both caused turnovers, with 56, and caused turnovers per game, with 3.44 caused turnovers per game. Ratajack found herself on the IWLCA All-Region Second Team for the second time in her career.
Prior to Keene State, Wyant graduated from the University of Mary Washington (UMW) in 2016 and earned his masters from Frostburg State University (FSU) in 2018. While at UMW, Wyant held the role of Student Assistant Coach for both lacrosse and field hockey from 2014-2016. During his time at UMW, he also started working for USA Field Hockey, as a performance analyst and held the role until 2023. After UMW, Wyant became the Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Frostburg from 2016-2019. Wyant joined the Owls as an assistant coach for field hockey in 2019 and continues to work with the program. Along with joining Keene State in 2019, Wyant has been active in the Club Coaching scene, working with the U19 Summit travel field hockey team, which plays throughout the northeast region of the U.S.
