Sophomore looking to earn a starting role in the Owls'' backfield this season...will add depth to the teams'' defense...an improving player who communicates well with her teammates on the field.
2011: appeared in five games for the Owls in her freshman season…totaled three groundballs on the year…had at least one groundball in three of her five appearances, last versus UMass Dartmouth (4/30).
Before KSC: a member of first girls lacrosse team her sophomore year at Pleasantville (N.Y.) High...tallied four goals and four assists on senior squad that posted a 15-4 record...received Panthers'' defensive MVP and coaches'' award...team earned a spot in sectional tournament every season...Kristen Schmidt is a early childhood education major.
