Junior midfielder who will be the Owls top scoring threat this season…compliments speed with good stick handling skills.
2011: leading goal scorer for the Owls in her sophomore campaign with 44 goals…had a career-high five goals on three occasions, with two of them coming in the Little East Conference postseason tournament (5/5 vs. Southern Maine and 5/7 vs. Eastern Conn. State)…also finished with two assists for 46 points…compiled 22 groundballs, 29 draw controls and nine caused turnovers on the year as well.
2010: totaled 21 goals and 6 assists for 27 points…scored a hat-trick in her first career-game, including the game-winner against Division II Saint Michael’s (3/6)…also compiled 25 groundballs, 22 draw controls and nine caused turnovers
Before KSC: A four-year starter at Agawam (Mass.) High…received All-Scholastic honors the past two years…scored 59 goals with 21 assists, and 88 points on last year’s 15-6 team…lacrosse team made four appearance in the Western Mass. tourney, reaching the finals her sophomore season…also competed on school field hockey and track squads…4x400 relay team were Western Mass. champs…Lauren is a athletic training major.
