Freshman from Plymouth (Mass.) South High School, she brings a positive attitude and distance and freestyle swimming skills to the Owls this season…High school did not have a swim team, but Maria received the Lu Mellonian Scholarship and Plymouth Guild Art Scholarship for her classroom accomplishments.

Personal: Maria is majoring in graphic design.
