A former head coach of the KSC swim program, David Masonreturned to the Spaulding Gym Pool deck as the Owls' diving coachin 2006.

Under Mason's tutelage, KSC has produced several divers who havebeen successful at the conference and regional level.  Lastseason,  Josh Tuller qualified for the NCAA New Englandregional meet after winning the three-meter board and placing thirdin the one-meter competition at the NEISDA championships.  Inaddition,  Mason developed the 2013 LEC rookie diver of theyear and the 2010 LEC diver of the year.

Mason, who spent eight seasons coaching the Owls (1987 - 1996),helped KSC build a successful dual meet record and qualify anincreasing number of athletes for the New England championshipsduring his tenure.

Originally from Erie, Pa., Mason attended Indiana University ofPennsylvania, where as a springboard diver he qualified fornational competition in his final two seasons.

While working toward his master's degree at IUP, Mason begancoaching the school's diving team. Upon graduation, he served asthe swim coach at several high schools in Pennsylvania and NewYork, as well as the diving coach at Mercyhurst College.

Mason currently works in the physical education department atMonadnock Regional High School, where he also served on thefootball coaching staff for eight seasons. Mason resides inSwanzey, N.H., with his daughters Kylie and Maura.
